Ipomoea carnea ssp fistulosa

On Monday we returned from a weekend in Athens to find this plant in flower.

John, That is an elegant flower.
Is the plant as rampant as most of it's family?

No, it's more of an erect shrub. One of its common names is Bush Morning Glory.

Revelling in its recent starring role as the cover photo on the MGS Facebook page our Bush Morning Glory is continuing to strut its stuff with several more buds just waiting for their day in the limelight (sunlight?).
