This is another plant in my garden that seems to flower for ever.
It started in the spring, and is still going strong.
The poor thing has been in this pot for three years, hauled all across Europe, then all around Crete. Never fed, only watered occasionally. :D
It will finally be planted this coming winter, builders willing. ::) ::) ::)

Origanum dictamnus is similar, but has very hairy much scented leaves. It also blooms throughout summer and is available commercially in Israel.

Daisy, do you know if this cultivar comes true from seed? Or only from cuttings?

ezeiza. I believe, (but am not sure) Barbara Tingey is a cross between Origanum rotundifolium and Origanum calcaratum. So it would be better to take basal cuttings in spring. Or simply divide in spring.
fragman. I also have Origanum dictamnus. It is sold here in the local market. I love it.
