I am nearly finished naming all the plants I saw in London.
The best place for plant names was a garden centre where we had breakfast and I bought, in addition some some daffodils bulbs for my hosts, some thick winter socks.

Hilary, It looks like a pink potentilla to me.
It could be Potentilla Lovely Pink, or possibly Potentilla Pink Beauty.
Daisy :)
Have a look at these.

Certainly a Potentilla fruticosa cultivar as Daisy says. Another candidate might be Pink Glow which has the soft colouring of Hilary's picture, but Pink Beauty is much more widely available so my money would be on Daisy's Pink Beauty suggestion.

Daisy and Alisdair,
Many thanks. I like the way they are all Potentilla pink something or other.
I will go with the Pink Beauty
