red and yellow flower ID'd by Oron as Asclepias curassavica

This pretty flower was growing in a trough outside a hotel by the sea last November.
I have lent my plant book to my son so can't look it up.
Any ideas?

Hilary, it is Asclepias curassavica.
Garden Designer, Bulb man, Botanical tours guide.
Living and gardening in Tivon, Lower Galilee region, North Israel.
Min temp 5c Max 42c, around 450mm rain.
