Title: Red admirals on Aeonium arboreum
Post by: Alice on January 15, 2013, 10:46:20 PM
This photo was taken about a week ago. The red admirals were feeding and sunning themselves on Aeonium arboreum flowers. They disappeared on two very cold days when there was some snow but were back when the sun came out and the temperature rose.

Those red admirals certainly are enjoying themselves.
Great photo Alice.
We had those few days of cold weather here too.
I stayed in by the log fire most of the time.
Now the wind has swung round and is coming from the south. Much warmer.
Warm enough for the dragonflies to be out and about too.
Daisy :)
