Title: Brachychiton acerfolius
Post by: Hilary on June 09, 2012, 05:49:57 AM
Brachychiton acerfolius =Illawarra Flame Tree.
Seen yesterday flowering in the main Road of Corinth.
A great surprise as I had never seen it before in my life.
And I have lived in Corinth for at least 40 years!

First time I, too, have seen it in the flesh (I have seen and marvelled over photos a few times!)
27may12 - Eleouthkia botanic park, Mandria, Cyprus
Only a small tree, but very noticeable and distinctive.
