Title: Palm or Yucca? IDd by Alberto (ezeiza) as Cordyline australis

I saw this in flower In Loutraki in the spring.
At first I thought it was a Yucca but then thought it might be a kind of Palm
It was about 3 meters tall
Any ideas?

It was interesting to read about its uses in New Zealand
