Title: Athens, Kerameikos
Post by: Hilary on February 22, 2014, 08:26:10 AM
We visited the archaeological site of Keramikos on a sunny day in February enjoying the weather and the sights.
Copies of the marble bull and marble Molossian hound, now in the museum, between an Olive tree.
A polygonal wall with Oxalis pes-caprae growing in it.
Many tortoises  wandering around

Nice to see that tortoise, Hilary! A sign of spring?
Kerameikos is an Athens favourite of several MGS people, little visited yet quite central - not far from lively cafes.
