Rhododendron in the garden

Rhododendron japonicum

Rhododendrons are mentioned in many articles in the Journal, usually about gardens with a cooler, damper temperatures than Mediterranean ones.

THE POND

The loud noise of the frogs and the comparatively large number of people round the pool attracted us to see what was going on.
The people were all trying to see the frogs and the frogs were making a great deal of noise and hiding.
There is a visible frog in the last photo.

Unfortunately for me, the two notices with information of the plant life in the pond  and frogs were both in Spanish.
