THE VILLA WHITAKER, MALFITANO SICILY

A description of the mansion and extensive gardens.

Apparently, the Villa is now known by the name Villa Malfitano.

The drawings to illustrate this garden are by John Jefferis.

I am including a scan of a postage stamp issued by Spain in 1973 featuring a Canary Island Palm, Phoenix canariensis

DRAGON’S BLOOD TREE

I am also including a postage stamp issued by Spain in 1973 depicting a Dragon's Blood Tree, Dracaena draco.
