Title: Books for succulent identification
Post by: David Dickinson on November 11, 2015, 10:01:44 AM
I have just bought the following 3 books which are proving very useful for identification. Do any readers have any other favourites which they would recommend?

"The Timberland Press Guide to Succulent Plants of the World", by Fred Dortort,
"Succulents: The Illustrated Dictionary"
"Succulents II: The New Illustrated Dictionary",

both by Maurizio Sajeva & Mariangela Costanzo

David, Thanks for these recommendations. I just looked at them on Amazon to see what they cost (i.e. whether I dared ask Helena for one as a Christmas present), and thought you'd be amused to know that a little gremlin in Amazon's cataloguing system has described The Illustrated Dictionary as "A brilliant and definitive account of great military genius at work"  :)
