I saw a small lily like plant early this summer in the Canyonlands National Park (soutwestern part of Utah), a high desert area which is part of the Colorado Plateau. I have searched all available sources (admittedly rather limited), but I am not able to find out what this was. The whole plant was small, around 15 cm in height, the flowers were rather large. The leaves were more or less gone, the remnants seemed to be rather long and narrow. The photo was taken in the beginning of June. At first I thought it was a Leucocrinum montanum (Star Lily/Mountain Lily), but it does not quite fit the description, could anybody help me?
