Can anyone identify this plant bought in a street market in Timbaki, Crete on Friday?

Thank you Oron. My first time using the forum; hence my initial problems posting a photo!

Don't worry, Kriti, even long time users make mistakes ;D
Thanks for posting this pic - this orange ornithogalum is a favourite of mine but I haven't grown it for ages.
When I did grow it I found it had the unusual habit of skipping a year- maybe conditions just weren't right for it to come into growth.
Eventually they just didn't come back at all :'(
cheers

Kriti,
What a fantastic street market you must have in Timbaki!
Ours, here in Korinthos, never has anything exciting in the way of plants.
I love your flower

Yes, you are lucky with that street market! I'm carefully nurturing a pot of seedlings that are now just a couple of years old but I think I'll have to wait for years before I get even a single flower, let alone such a lovely show as your plant.

I find all people with that success to be lucky.
