In October last year I did a posting regarding Gaura in which I also mentioned that it had been used ,along with Perovskia, for a new roundabout bed in our local town. I recently heard that the perovskia has caused much interest and that the local, in town nursery/garden centre ,has been inundated with requests for this plant. How good to learn that innovative planting (as opposed to the usual bedding type that needs frequent watering) is noticed. :)

Here's a planting in Bricquebec, Normandy taken in July 2007. It is quite impressive and presumably low maintenance.
