Title: unidentified plant, Pelion, Greece IDd by Oron as Chimonanthus praecox
Post by: Hilary on July 21, 2011, 09:13:40 PM
We saw this in a garden in the village of Milies , 400m., on the western side of Mount Pelion.
I have tried for several years to identify it but with no success.
It would be wonderful if one of you could put a mane to it
The flowers were powerfully scented and the branches were bare.
It appeared to be either a small tree or a tall bush.
I hope the photo goes this time as it didn't go yesterday

Hilary,
