Plant Identification. a bulb this time, ID'd by Oron as Albuca bracteata

Having set local MGS member the task of tracking down good bulbs to go with John's talk at the weekend, he brought this back - inevitably with no name. John has said maybe Ornithogalum narbonense type, maybe, perhaps, any thoughts from you lovely lot ?

Hi Rosie,
It is Albuca bracteata syn Ornithogalum caudatum.
Originating in S. africa, taking its name for these prominent bracts.
