Mauve/purple flower at Hyde Hall ID'd by Jorun as Lythrum salicaria

The last flower photo, from Hyde Hall gardens, which I took in September waiting to be named .
Does anyone have any ideas?

Looks like Lythrum salicaria, purple loosestrife.
Retired veterinary surgeon by training with a PhD in parasitology,  but worked as a virologist since 1992.
Member of the MGS  since 2004. Gardening in Oslo and to a limited extent in Halkidiki, Greece.

Hi Hilary,
sorry to disagree with Jorun, but I don't think it's Loosestrife.
Looks more like a salvia like S. nemorosa

many thanks for your input. I didn't take enough time to take closer photos of this plant and I couldn't find a label, however, there are many mentions of Salvia Nemorosa growing at Hyde Hall garden on the website. I wonder if anyone else has any ideas.

By the way I love all the photos you add here to the Forum. Have you ever posted a wider view of your garden? That would be interesting
