Dicentra spectabilis ’Alba’
Another plant seen in Royal Botanic Garden Madrid, April 2018
According to various sources on the Internet this plant likes shaded areas
I have not been able to find a reference to this plant in THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN but
Dicentra formosa
is mentioned a few times
Go to THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN number 74, October 2013 and read AUTUMN IN A CALIFORNIA GARDEN by Katherine Greenberg
There are some photos of this garden here

Living in Korinthos, Greece.
No garden but two balconies, one facing south and the other north.
Most of my plants are succulents which need little care

It's a lovely thing but not one I've been brave enough to try here! It looks too delicate and I couldn't succeed with it even when I was in Melbourne.
I see the taxonomists have been at it again and renamed it Lamprocapnos spectabilis!
cheers
