I have not yet seen anything like that here in Mallorca, but I will keep looking.

The wild form doesn't occur on Mallorca but it does occur in the east of the Mediterranean.

Yes, I would have been surprised if you didn't get it. Occasionally this species has yellow stamens instead of the usual black. I have seen this in the wild in Crete and Israel. Here, from a seed raised mix of cut flowers grown in Devon is a yellow with the yellow stamens.

At last! The yellow stamens confused me, but then I remembered that you previously wrote that the wild form only occurs in the eastern part of the Mediterranean.
