It was like finding an old friend when I saw this pale mauve primula-type plant with spotted leaves growing on the very wet walls of the gorge of the tiny river Krikelopotamos, a tributary of the Trikeriotis river which runs into Lake Kremaston in the province of Evritania. 'Pandavrehi' translates to
'always raining'.
I first saw it 20 years earlier on the other side of Mt Tymfristos where it was studding the walls of the gorge of the river Agrafiotis like buttons on a cushion. I would love to be able to give it a name.

Hello Barbara
Your plant is Pinguicula crystallina subsp hirtiflora, family: Lentibulariaceae.
The 'spotted leaves' , if you look carefully are tiny insects cought in a sticky glue as it is a carnivoruos plant!!!
