Cactus confirmed as Echinopsis subdenudata by Hinterland1

I had a look through my cactus book and this is the nearest thing I could find. Any more ideas, as always, welcomed and appreciated.

I have a small garden in Rome, Italy. Some open soil, some concrete, some paved. Temperatures in winter occasionally down to 0°C. Summer temperatures up to 40°C in the shade. There are never watering restrictions but, of course, there is little natural water for much of June, July and August.

(just to say that I have split off David Dickinson's consequent question about useful books for succulent - and cactus - identification as a separate topic here; I hope it'll prompt even more suggestions!)
