Identification problem - ID'd by Oron as Coleonema pulchrum

I bought this plant years ago, and cannot remember it's name.
I saw one similar in a garden centre, and it was called "melaleuca"
I have googled that name and checked all my books, but cannot find anything that looks like it.

Having spent years gardening in the South of England. I thought I was alone struggling with my Mediterranean garden.
Then one day I stumbled upon The MGS and it looks like all my questions can be answered.

That does seem close, foliage is defintely aromatic, but flowers are not white, they are pink

Coleonema pulchrum
Native to South Africa.
Commonly known here as "Diosma" - the gold leaf form is particularly "done to death" in public plantings and the "instant gardens" so popular in the 70s and 80s - so most people are sick of it.
However it is is bone hardy and can survive trimming into a low hedge.
We "inherited" one with the garden 12 years ago and despite not watering it the thing refuses to die! Maybe today's 40

Thanks a lot folks
I thought when I knew what it was, it might ring some bells.
But it doesn't

Hello all,
While the picture certainly looks more like the Coleonema that Oron suggests, could it be a Leptospermum? Or, Roy, could you be (erroneously or not) remembering your plant as Leptospermum? :S

Thanks Marilyn, but having now looked up and studied Coleonema pulchrum, Oron is spot on.
This plant is definitely Coleonema pulchrum.
The plants at the garden centre that are still identified as Melaleuca, are identical to this one.
So its not surprising that I got confused. (that and age)
