KIRSTENBOSCH NATIONAL BOTANICAL GARDEN
Cape Town, South Africa.
Kirstenbosch is mentioned in OUR ‘GARDEN OF EDEN’
by Hamish Warren
THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN number 28 April 2002
I quote ‘
‘When one walks out of the visitors’ entrance and down the slope at Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens one is hit by the sight of a bed of ink- blue pendulous Agapanthus inapertus’ ‘We had to get one’
The writer was given a small rooted
Agapanthus inapertus plant on condition that he would not reproduce it for commercial purposes.
Once more I have no photos of this plant but have a couple of other Agapanthus both seen growing in Corinth.
