Could it possibly be the lip of Ophrys speculum or a similar orchid? With slightly photoshopped flames? :/

The latin name for dragon is draco, and the diminutive of draco is dracunculus, but we can't be going there again?
Retired veterinary surgeon by training with a PhD in parasitology,  but worked as a virologist since 1992.

Oh look! Only just seen this, very pleased to have got one! Although, given the amount of time I spent on my belly this spring looking at said orchids, which grow in profusion in some corners of the garden here, it would have been a poor look-out if I hadn't managed this one. :)
