Is anyone growing Streptosolen jamesonii?
Can it be trimmed back regulary?
I am thinking of putting one in a pot, but it would need trimming regularly in the place I have in mind.
Does it mind, or would it sulk?

Streptosolen can be kept clipped, but you would most likely be sacrificing the majority of bloom.  This wants to get to be a huge shrub or scandent vine, and in my opinion works better where it has space to grow. It can easily get 8 feet tall by across in gardens here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Also, if you cut back too much into woodsy stems it does not get back that quickly. It is  much better to give it a light trim immediately after blooming. And yes, give it plenty of space.
