Unknown tree ID'd by Oron as Lagunaria patersonii

Can someone identify this tree for Daphne Ott, the new Garden Assistant at Sparoza? The close-up shows a small purple flower so it can't be aAcca sellowiana .

Looks like Lagunaria patersonia to me

Fleur, check out Lagunaria patersonii under Trees and Shrubs.
Cyprus Branch Head. Gardens in a field 40 m above sea level with reasonably fertile clay soil.
